Four Jackson College cross country runners wrapped up their seasons Saturday at the NJCAA Division 1 Men's and Women's Cross Country Championship in Garden City, Kansas.

Under very high winds and low temperatures, the women's runners competed against the top runners. Runner Sarah Hanson finished with a time of 22:08.5 in the 5K, placing 131 out of 293 runners. Runner Haley Wilkes finished with a time of 24:32.8, placing 244 out of 293 runners.

For the Jets men, Bobby Hurley finished the 8K with a time of 34:07.7, placing 264 out of 284 runners, and Ja'Corey Dorsey finished with a time of 34:26.2, placing 268 out of 284.

"This was a great experience for all runners as they had a chance to compete with some of the best runners around the country," said Coach Serafin Llerena. "As a coaching staff, we are very proud of our runners, and we can't wait to see what next season brings."
