Jackson College Jets men's and women's cross country teams recently competed at the Jayhawk Invitational at Muskegon Community College.
The women's team finished fourth overall, with strong times by runners Sarah Hanson and Haley Wilkes. Hanson finished with a time of 20:44, while Wilkes was at 21:49. Hanson has placed in the top 10 at every conference meet this season, and Wilkes has placed in the top 20.
For the men's team, runner Bobby Hurley led with a 29:17 season best to finish 37th in the conference. JaCorey Dorsey was close behind with a finishing time of 29:56, earning his 41st place.
Both teams will travel to Lansing Community College on Oct. 27 to compete in the Regional Meet.
