Jets men's and women's cross country teams are small but excited about the fall season!

New Coach Serafin Llerena and assistants Andrew Ortell and Melissa Merkel have just two returning women runners from last year's squads. Madison Dunlap of Napoleon returns and will be the women's team captain, and Sarah Hanson of Vandercook Lake, an all-region and national qualifier last year for Jackson College, is also back to run for the Jets this year. Joining them will be newcomers Audrey Warriner of Jackson and Haley Wilkes of Addison.

For the men, the team welcomes newcomers Ja'Corey Dorsey of Flint, Bobby Hurley of Burlington and Tyler Muckel of Union City.

"We are super excited for our freshman class, as they are the building block for the next two years," Llerena said. "This freshman class is very athletic and strong, and we expect great things from them this year."
