Cross country runners compete at nationals

Jackson College had four cross country runners compete at the 2017 NJCAA Division 1 cross country championships earlier this month at Fort Dodge, Iowa.

In the men's 8000 meters, Kevin Kellk ran his best race of the season at 28:54, taking 226th place. Clinton Kiprop Too ran at 31:36 to place 301st. There was 320 runners from across the country.

In the women's 5000 meters, Sarah Hanson ran 20:16 to take 103rd place. Madison Dunlap finished in 22:25 for 239th place. There were 309 runners total.
