Jets volleyball is set for an exciting year!

While Coach Kathy Lehman will miss departing players from last year's team – Sidney Ing, Anna Long, Ali Hofflander and Kaytlin Passmore – she has gathered a strong group of new and returning players for this 2018 season.

Returning this year are Shania Johnson, outside hitter/setter from Saginaw, who had 182 kills and 207 digs in the 2017-18 season; Marissa Mosher, outside hitter from Concord who had 12 kills and 205 digs in the 2017-18 season; and Kelsey Duke, middle hitter from Jackson, graduate of East Jackson, who had 107 kills and 15 digs last season.

Newcomers to this year's team include Lindsey Lehman, setter from Concord; Andrea Ford, outside hitter/defensive specialist from Fairview; Aleea Coulter, outside hitter from Homer; Alyssa Fowler, middle hitter from Brooklyn and graduate of Columbia Central; Aubrey Trudell, defensive specialist from Napoleon; Camryn Ward, outside hitter from Concord; and Kennedy Beach, outside hitter/defense specialist from Hillsdale.

"Our returning players are building on last year's late-season improvements," Lehman said. "The seven incoming newcomers will strengthen the defense and offense that improved so much last year. It will be fun to watch this group develop and growing during the 2018 season!"
