Jackson College's Jets women's soccer team lost a tough game Wednesday to Delta College 2-1, dropping to No. 2 in the MCCAA Conference.
The Jets' lone goal came in the second half from Elena Vazquez, with an assist from Kayler Beech. It was a shot inside 6-yard box off a rebound. Goalie Katarzynia Polek took the loss for the Jets.
The Jets dropped to No. 2 in the MCCAA Conference behind Delta College. The Jets are 6-2-0 on the season, while Delta is 6-1-0. The Jets play again at 11 a.m. Saturday at home again Lakeland Community College. This will be the Jets last home game of the season; the final three games are all on the road.
