Ashton Jordan signs with JC Softball

BROOKLYN, MI – Napoleon High School Senior Ashton Jordan recently signed her National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Letter of Intent to play softball at Jackson College.

Jordan, a 5'5" ft. center for the Napoleon Pirates with academic honors in the honor roll all four years, Spanish 1 & 2 award, pre-calculus award, and being in the top 10 in her class.  Jordan's athletic honors are being in the all-conference during her sophomore and junior years, all-district her freshman, sophomore, junior years, all region sophomore and junior year, and all state honorable mention for 2nd base her sophomore and junior year.

Jackson College Head Softball Coach Jamie Vandenburgh commented on Jordon, "Ashton is a quick player for her high school. She will be important to our team next season."

When asked what made Jackson College the right choice for her, Jordon mentioned it is close to home and she was awarded a scholarship for softball. Jackson College is also an inexpensive institution with great educational programs.
