Walt Paszkiet enters his fifth season as the head men's golf coach at Jackson College.

 Paszkiet was a longtime coach and teacher at Grass Lake Community Schools, and has also spent three years as an assistant basketball coach at Spring Arbor University. He is now retired from teaching and works at the Ella Sharp Park Golf Course.

The community of Jackson has a lot of depth in its up-and-coming golfers.

“Jackson is such a golf community, coaching here is a perfect opportunity,” Paszkiet said. “All the high school teams seem to be fairly strong, so I thought it would be a great thing to do to coach at the College.

“Jackson is such a strong area for gof and over the years, a majority of the men’s team has come from Jackson County,” he said.
