Jackson College men's golf welcomes five newcomers on the 2019-20 team.
Newcomers include Justin Dods, who played for Jackson High; Tyler Stassines, Napoleon High who was All Conference First Team his senior year; Thomas Haas, Springport High, whose recruiting profile lists an 81 average and 89 tournament scoring average; Jacob Rothenberger, Concord High who was All-Conference his junior and senior year; and Louis Redovich, Western High, who shot a career best 78 in his final regional at Western.
Not with the Jets this year Riley Hestwood, who has transferred to Aquinas College. Hestwood was an Honorable Mention All-American last season.
Coach Walt Paszkiet looks forward to the season. He hopes to finish in the upper part of the Michigan Community College Athletic Association, qualifying for regionals and making a run to qualify for nationals.
