The Jets men's basketball team couldn't overtake the Grand Rapids Raiders Wednesday, Feb. 7, falling 83-74 there. High scorer for the Jets was Jalen Martin with 20, while teammate Connor Pelham had 19 pounds and 12 rebounds.
The Jets' record is currently 5-5 in the MCCAA Western Conference, 6-13 overall.

BATTLE CREEK -- The Jackson College Jets men's basketball team overtook the Kellogg Community College Bruins Monday, Feb. 4, 101-88.
The Jets Connor Pelham had a big night scoring a double-double with 25 points and 21 rebounds, followed by teammate Noah Osebor who also have a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Jalen Martin scored 17 points, Brody Love 15 and Jared Sietsema 13.

The Jackson College Jets men's basketball team scored a decisive win Saturday, Feb. 2 over Muskegon CC, with four players in double digits and three with double-doubles.

Jackson College Jets men's basketball took a one-point lead over Kalamazoo Valley Community College Jan. 26, but the Cougars came back to outscore the Jets in the second and win the game, 79-72. For the Jets, Jalen Martin was high scorer with 17 points, followed by Connor Pelham with 17 and Jared Sietsema with 12.

Jackson College 93, Ancilla College 100
After six games, the Jackson College Jets are sitting right at the .500 mark, 3-3 on the season in the MCCAA Western Conference.
The Jets lost Sunday, Jan. 20 to the Ancilla College Chargers, 93-100. Ancilla outscored the Jets in the first half 53-35, and the Jets tried to turn it around in the second, scoring 58-47, but it wasn't enough to change the game final.
Leading scorer for the Jets was forward Connor Pelham with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Noah Osebor scored 17 points with 3 rebounds, and coming off the bench, guard/forward Brody Love had 16 points and 5 rebounds. Also scoring in double digits was guard Jared Sietsema, 15.

Jackson College 83, Lake Michigan 69
After a tight first half, the Jackson College Jets men's basketball team scored a win Wednesday, Jan. 16 against the Lake Michigan College Red Hawks, 83-69.
The Red Hawks were up by 1 after the first half, but the Jets came back to lead the second half 46-31. Forward Noah Osebor was the leading scorer with 17 pounds and 13 rebounds, following closed by Jared Sietsema and Jared Martin, both with 16 points. Also scoring in double digits were Connor Pelham, 12, and Brody Love, 11.
With the win, the Jets went to 3-2 on the season in the MCCAA West.

Jackson College 91, Glen Oaks Community College 86
Jackson College Jets men's basketball held on for the win against the Glen Oaks Community College Vikings on Saturday, Jan. 12, 91-86.
The Jets came out in the lead in the first half, 51-40, and while the Vikings came back strong in the second half outscoring the Jets 46-40, the Jets still finished with the win.
Leading scorer and also strong on the boards for the game was forward Connor Pelham, with 24 points and 19 rebounds for the day. Noah Osebor scored 20 points and had 2 rebounds, while Jared Sietsema scored 14, Jalen Martin 11 and Brody Love 10.
With the win, the Jets went to 2-2 in the MCCAA West.

Jackson College Jets men's basketball faced a loss Jan. 9 against the Lansing Community College Stars, 62-88. The Stars led both quarters.
With the loss, the Jets went to 1-2 in the MCCAA Western Conference.

The Jets lost to the Grand Rapids Community College Raiders Saturday, 82-93.
Michigan Center sophomore Connor Pelham was the high scorer for the game with 29 points, going 11-19 from the floor and nabbing 13 rebounds. Sophomore Noah Osebor scored 17 points, going 7-13 with 10 rebounds, Jackson freshman Kris Wallace scored 13 and Texas sophomore Marcellus Freeman scored 12 on the game.
With the loss, the Jets are 1-1 on the season. They will face Lansing Community College at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Lansing.

Jackson College 95, Muskegon Community College 78
The Jackson College Jets men's basketball team started out their conference season with a win Thursday, defeating the Muskegon Community College Jayhawks 95-78.
The Jets led in both the first and second halves for the win. Connor Pelham was leading scorer for the Jets with 30 points for the game, going 9-17 from the floor with 16 rebounds. Pelham, forward and a sophomore from Michigan Center, was strong from the free throw line as well, making 12 out of 15. Also scoring in double digits were Noah Osebor, forward and a sophomore from Marietta, Ga., with 17, and added 11 points each, Marcellus Freeman, guard/forward and a freshman from Houston, Texas, and Kris Wallace, guard and freshman from Jackson.
