Ancilla College 70

Jackson College 65

The Jets men's basketball team was tied with the conference-leading Ancilla College at halftime of their Feb. 17 matchup, but the Chargers pulled ahead in the second half to win the game, 70-65.

Guard/forward Jagger Surface was high scorer for the Jets, with 15 points, followed by guard Brandon Thomas with 14 points. Guard/forward Michael Bruce scored 12 points on the night.

With the loss, the Jets record went to 7-6 in the MCCAA Western Conference, and 13-10 overall.

Glen Oaks Community College 93

Jackson College 87

The Jets men's basketball team dropped a game Feb. 19 to Glen Oaks, 87-93.

For the Jets, four players scored in double digits. Guard/forward Jagger Surface was high scorer, while point guard Devaughn Munson scored 16, guard Andrew Nicholson Jr. scored 13 and guard/forward Michael Bruce scored 10. Despite some strong scoring, however, they couldn't hold off the Vikings of Glen Oaks, with all five starters scoring in double digits.

With the loss, the Jets went to 7-7 in the MCCAA Western Conference and 13-11 overall.

Kellogg Community College 72

Jackson College 92

Guard Brandon Thomas helped lead the Jets men's basketball team to victory over Kellogg Community College Feb. 21, scoring 30 points on the night. Thomas is a sophomore from Ypsilanti who is averaging 16.7 points per game in conference play this year.

Also scoring in double digits were forward Karinn Davis Jr. with 17 points, and guard/forward Jagger Surface with 16 points.

With the win, the Jets record went to 8-7 in the conference and 14-11 overall.

Kalamazoo Valley Community College 45

Jackson College 70

The Jets men's basketball team got another win Feb. 24, defeating Kalamazoo Valley Community College 70-45.

Guard Brandon Thomas was high scorer on the night with 20 points, following by guard/forward Jermayne Golidy with 18.

With the win, the Jets went to 9-7 for the season in the MCCAA Western Conference and 15-11 overall.
