Agnes commits to JC Baseball

ALLEN PARK, MI – Allen Park High School graduate Carlos Agens recently signed his National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Letter of Intent to play baseball at Jackson College.

Agens, a 6'1" first baseman for the Jaguars, graduated with academic honors in all-league academics and had over a 3.0 grade point average. His athletic honors were all-state, all-league, all-district, all-region awards and earned a 110% award.

Jackson College Head Baseball Coach Rick Smith commented on Agens, "We look at Carlos as a middle order guy in the lineup. He should provide more power in the batting orger too."

When asked what made Jackson College the right choice for him, Agens mentioned he knew Jackson College baseball will make him a better player and JC offers a program that he is interested in.
