Jackson College women's cross country wins the Kirtland CC Invitational
The Jackson College women's cross country team cruised to victory at the Kirtland CC Invitational. The Jets had 27 points to out distance Kellogg CC with 40 points. Host Kirtland Community College finished fifth.
Jackson placed five runners in the top 10, including Olivia Hubbard who won the race in a time of 21:51.7. Kelogg's Hannah Wilkerson finished 2nd, while Jackson's Harmony Harpster finished third. Kellogg had Emma Berning and Kennedy Vanderlugt finish fourth and fifth respectively. Jackson had Maddie Huphreys in sixth, Haley Presley in eighth and Alaysia Gutierrez in ninth. Ana Pace of Kellogg finished 11th, while Krissy Johnson of Jackson was 12th. Kirtland's Sara Andre finished 14th.
